Going into The New(?) SP and MP Features...

The New Decoratives:

 Species Compliant Wood (Not Canon Name my own invention :D):
With This You Bacically get wood planks its like leaves (texture change only)
Apple Trees/Oak: Give The Normal Planks you know and love
Pine: Darker (Stained?) wood
Birch: Pale Whiteish Wood (F*#@YES!!!)
Redwood/Jungle Trees:Well they're Reddish pink like Redwood!(EWW so UGLY...)

Sandstone:
well The Rumours are Over!(?are they 0_o?) officially the New Sandstone blocks can be crafted
originally apearing in the Official 1.2 release _jeb didnt mention them at all they can now be crafted
however YIPEE!!

Heiroglyphic Sandstone (RumorStone): Heiroglyphs all around it; craftted with two SS slabs on top of eachother (Craft Grid ^_^)

Smooth Sand Stone (Smooth Sand):
Uses a  Variant of The Top of Regular SS all around the block (HELLYES THANKS JEB!)

Realistic Cats ( No Really Cats Are actually Assholes XD)

New Features:

• Chat history and much better chat editing
  • You can click on links in chat
  • Scroll up/down for history
  • Up/down keys for recently sent messages
  • Tab complete for player names
  • Copy & paste in chat
• A few new decoration blocks
  • Wooden planks now have the colour of the type of wood they came from instead of the original wooden plank texture.
  • New Sandstone Blocks
• “Back” and “Quit” buttons to OutOfMemoryScreen
• Cats will now sit on chests and beds, preventing players from using them.
• Added a “minimal” debug menu for testing with. It can be accessed with Shift+F3 and is the same as the regular F3 menu, except without the graphs.

• Fixed seed displaying in F3 debug when the seed is unknown (multiplayer)
• Fixed villager texture changing clientside per profession
• Fixed falling off ledge corners while holding shift
• Fixed players falling when reconnecting to servers where they were previously flying 
• Glass can again be picked up using Silk Touch enchanted tools

New Bugs:

• When you type a full bar of chat, then backspace, you crash your client.
• COMMAND-key chat shortcuts don't work on Macs.
• The buttons in the "do you want to click this link" screen are positioned incorrectly
